16th Nov, Mumbai: Three back to back sessions on the topics “Establishment of Justice in India-Present Scenario”,”Terrorism, UAPA and Civil Rights”, “Legal Aid Management System & Persuasion of a Case”  were facilitated by Akhlaq Ahmad (National Coordinator of APCR) during the Legal Aid Workshop organized by All India Dawah Centre Association an umbrella body of various dawah organisation at Hotel Western Mumbai Central Mumbai.

Ex Information Commissioner Shailesh Gandhi, Adv Rashda Ainapore (Mumbai High Court),  Adv. Vijay Pradhan (Mumbai High Court), Adv. Farhana Shah (Mumbai High Court), IPS Qaiser Khalid (Mumbai Police) were the resource persons in the workshop on “RTI Act”, “Under trials-Access to Justice”, “Understanding Criminal Justice in India”, “Crime Against Women & Children” and “Police Public Partnership” respectively.
About 40 selected volunteers from various organisations participated the two days workshop.
